Abaholi Learner Support Programme
The ABAHOLI Learner Support Programme is a partnership between the Rand Water Foundation and
Sci-Bono Discovery Centre. The programme aims to prepare learners with potential in mathematics and science for successful post school progress in higher education and employment in the science, engineering and technology fields.
The programme delivers additional tuitions to talented Grade 10, 11 and 12 learners, in order to develop higher order critical thinking and problem solving skills, by making use of innovative and effective teaching & learning strategies. The learners will receive a minimum 40 day extra tuitions per year for the 3 years of grades 10, 11 and 12.
Grade 9 learners are invited to write 1.5 hour test in Natural Science, Mathematics and critical thinking. Details of the testing programme are as follows:

Sci-Bono Discovery Centre
Learners are to bring their own stationery and calculators.
The top 70 learners will be chosen and they will be informed in January 2018. Tuitions will be at Sci-Bono beginning in February 2018.
